“I couldn’t walk for more than five minutes at a time without having to lay down for hours and hours and hours and sleep.”

I started wearing a bra at nine years old. A training bra—a lacy triangle one with a little blue satin bow in the middle—but still a bra, nonetheless. And ever since, my hunt for the perfect bra to shape, lift, and support my bigger 36DD chest has been, to put it mildly, a struggle. I’ve been desperate to find a gorgeous bra that could give me comfort and support without digging into my ribcage, not to mention one that’s actually pretty and stylish? Could it possibly exist, or would I be endlessly searching for a needle in a haystack?

Well, I’m here to report that, yes, my boobs have found “the one.” Hello, Knix WingWoman Contour Bra ($65)—I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life for you. I’ve been wearing this bra nonstop since I got it, and here’s why.

About the Knix WingWoman Contour Bra

This is Knix’s best-selling bra—it’s sold over one million of them. The wireless bra is so meticulously designed to lift and shape, sans discomfort, it’s no wonder why it’s one of the brand’s top-selling products.

Each WingWoman Contour Bra features a silky stretch nylon body with fully lined cups that come together in a subtle dipped V-shape that helps to lift, separate, and support the décolletage. The shoulder straps are wide yet comfortable (not prone to digging in) and are fully adjustable. In case you’re worried about side boob or spillage, Knix has thought of that, too. There’s a “wing” of extra fabric on the sides and back to keep everything in place and under wraps. It’s a game-changer in terms of coverage.

But what stands out most is how many sizes the bra comes in—99, to be exact, ranging from 28A to 48H. It comes in an expansive color palette, too. There are simple neutrals like black and chocolate brown, or prettier shades like bright pink, and even a lacy floral print, with every color available in every size. Tl;dr—you can find your perfect match.

What I love

I have to admit, when I first unwrapped my bras, I wasn’t sure it would cut it. I’m happy to report that I was proven wrong—I received it in both pink and black, and when I tell you I’ve barely taken them off except to sleep, I mean it. (In fact, I’m wearing the pink one right now while I type this.)

It’s really hard for me to find bras that truly support my larger boobs, especially wireless ones. This one does exactly that, while somehow making them look more lifted and shaped at the same time—it’s some kind of bra magic. The fabric feels deliciously soft and silky against my skin. It makes me feel like I’m wearing sexy, special-occasion lingerie even though it’s an everyday bra.

The combination of the wireless bands, shaped cups, and the plunging V in the middle leave my boobs looking better than they have in years. I particularly love that the band has more rows of hooks than any other bra I’ve worn in recent years. There are five rows of three hook-and-bar closures, so it’s easy to find a row that fits perfectly—I’ve been comfortably keeping it on row two. Because I need a little extra support, I like that the shoulder straps are a bit wider than other bras, too. They’re still on the thinner side, but just with that little bit of extra fabric that helps hold everything in place. And, of course, they’re fully adjustable.

What I don’t love

I will say it was a bit tough to figure out my sizing, especially with 99 to choose from. I’m a pretty true 36DD, but according to Knix’s size chart, I needed to go up to a 40DD. Even so, the bra felt a bit tight when I first put it on, which the brand notes is a possibility. Luckily, it relaxes a bit after washing and wearing. You can also add on a band extender ($4), which can help the bra feel less snug.

Final thoughts

As someone who’s made a lifelong study of the best wireless bras for larger boobs, I’m happy to report that the Knix WingWoman Contour Bra has fully exceeded my expectations. If it’s at all possible to actually *want* to sleep in a bra or wear one around the house when I don’t have to, this is the one to make me do it. I slip it on, and my boobs are instantly shaped, lifted, separated, and supported. Honestly, what more could I ask for?

Plus, at $65, this bra is pretty comparable with its competitors. If you’ve been searching for a bra to bring you utter joy, pick up Knix’s WingWoman Contour Bra for yourself. I promise, you’ll love it.
